Thank you for your love for us. Thank you for teaching us how to love others. Please continue to show me more of you... help me become more like you, someone who loves to do Your will.
Love,
John 16-18
It's funny, I think this will be a short one, because I've pretty much said everything about these passages because I just read them last week.
Ok, nevermind. JOHN 17 IS AMAZING. :-) I've always loved it when Jesus prays for his disciples and the whole body of Christianity, but it's particularly awesome today. Jesus prayed for (so far) two millenniums of believers, and that includes me, my family, my church, and every believer I know or have read about... and all those countless others I have not heard about. What a powerful prayer!
Pilate: What is truth? Professor LV talked about this some... The answer: God. haha :-)
Proverbs 5-6
6:6-8 I want to work like an ant :-) It's satisfying.
6:20-23 My parent's instruction... spiritually, academically, practically, and (ecumenically, grammatically...) haha. No really, I've been blessed with lots and lots of instruction from my parents. (and the weird thing is, I see that as a good thing! hehe).
Psalm 119:97-128
Love. That's what I keep thinking when I read Psalm 119. They Love you. They Love your word. They Love obeying them. The only reason they do any of it is because of Love. Not because of Obligation, or a sense of Duty. Just because they love what is right.
Help me become that kind of a person, Lord!
Revelation 5
What a glorious scene! The Lamb was slain, but he is worthy to open the scroll and save us. He really does deserve all our praise. Thank you!
